 Joey Riley, well known in
Branson as Mickey Gilley's crazy side kick
since 1993, started
headlining his own MATINEE SHOW at 2 PM "The Joey Riley
Comedy & Music Review" in 2004. (Don't worry... he still
performs with Mickey in the evenings!)
Sure, Joey Riley is funny! Sure, people have been known to laugh so hard at his
jokes and gags that beverages
have shot out their noses.
But what most people don't realize is that Joey's humor is only a part of the whole Joey Riley show experience!
Now you can get a full dose of Joey's zany sense
of humor and his incredible musical talents,
and enjoy some of Branson's best musicians and
singers at the same time. The
Joey Riley Comedy and Music Review is a 2 hour extravaganza of entertainment
that offers something for everyone! It's a fun and lively show that showcases
the many talents of Joey Riley - and - a first-rate group of professional
musicians known as the "Git R Done Band".
This group of remarkable musicians and vocalists serve up
your favorite classic country
songs so well, you'd think you were
right there at the Grand Ole Opry. We're talking about a
team of talented musicians - the best of the best - recruited to Joey's
"Git R Done Band". Musicians and singing talent who've made
their names in places like Nashville, Memphis, Austin
- even Las Vegas
- playing
the music that is such a part of all of our lives. (Heck, some of these folks are so serious about their music that
they can't even tell a joke without help! That's why they came to work
with
Joey!)
"The Get R Done Band" features
brother,
Scott Riley, playing bass and showing off his
vocal talents. Legendary Tom Brumley playing steel
guitar and the beautiful Melody Hart,
who sings a great country song
- in addition to a host of other incredibly talented
musicians.
 
And this year we've added a
really special treat... Kelli Roberts-Riley and her
dancing partner, Mike Bliss, perform some high-steppin
fancy footwork - fantastic dancing that's sure to
make the audience want to git up 'n dance in the aisles!
Not only will Joey make you laugh till you cry.
Joey and the band will
take you on a musical
journey as they pay
tribute to the country music legends that have
influenced them over
their careers,
from the World Famous Grand Ole Opry. Such
country greats as George Jones, Willie
Nelson, Little Jimmy Dickens, Johnny Cash, John
Anderson, Charlie Daniels, Roy Acuff & many more.
 Joey
also does a fantastic and fun
tribute to Cajun & Zydeco music
that gets the audience snappin', clappin' and a
tappin'!
Joey's finesse on the
fiddle and many other instruments is just fantastic, and
his singing is a delightful surprise. Joey's version of
Orange Blossom Special is awesome, especially when he
invites an unsuspecting audience member to help out!
The show pays special tribute to the nation's veterans
and Joey's memorable patriotic number is worth the
ticket price all by itself.
