Born and raised in Abbeville, Louisiana, Chuck Landry has been
keeping the beat since the age of 9. At age 16, Chuck began his
career as a professional drummer and percussionist, and has
performed with such artists as Mel McDaniel, Jimmy C. Newman and Mel
Tillis (with whom he currently performs - in addition to his
afternoon shows with the Git R Done Band and Joey Riley).
As a musician, Chuck has been influenced and
inspired by such artists as Gene Krupa, Buddy Harmon and Steve
Jordan. |
Chuck is a father and animal lover, Dad to son, Zachary Landry, and
" Dog Dad" to a Black Labrador Retriever named Angus.
Chuck's talent, versatility and professionalism help to make the Git
R Done Band and the Joey Riley Comedy and Music Review one of
Branson's most entertaining afternoon shows.
