From the age of 8, Tony has
been interested in music and performing. By age 18, he
was a seasoned musician working in Nashville, Tennessee
with recording artists and touring the US Country Music
circuit. During his career to date, Tony has worked with
such artists as Cal Smith, Stonewall Jackson, Ernie
Ashworth, Jim Ed Brown, Helen Cornelius, Jean Sheperd,
Mary-Lou Turner, Jeanie Seeley, Leona Williams, Wanda
Jackson, Mickey Gilley, Norma Jean, Charlie Louvin, The
Hagars, Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts, Phillip Sweet
of Little Big Town and Jim Owen.
An accomplished keyboard
player, vocalist and bass guitarist, Tony's musical
stylings have been influenced by artists including Alice
Fay (country and gospel singer and songwriter - and his
Mom!), Elton John (some of the best song arrangements
ever recorded, says Tony), Hargus "Pig" Robbins (the
very best country piano master ever!) and Gene Watson
(now that man is country!).
Tony says his lifelong dream
has been to write and produce top 10 chart songs and to
put some gold and platinum on his wall - to be an "in
the circle" songwriter. He also aspires to be good at
his hobby of Taxidermy.
Tony is married to Lisa, and
they have a menagerie of furry family members including
son Pearl - a mischievous Tom Cat, daughter Sambo
Scoobert - a curious
black Labrador Retriever, 8
chickens; Henrietta, Phyllis, Zella, Alice, Nora,
Sherry, Barbara, and Harold - the rooster.
Life on the farm is great!
